About LBE School

English training for professionals whose communication has consequences

LBE School works with doctors, executives and professionals who use English in situations where clarity matters: licensing exams, international interviews, negotiations, presentations, clinical communication and global work.

The people who come to us usually do not need another general English course. They need to perform in a specific situation, often against a deadline and often while carrying significant professional responsibility.

Who we are

Built around professional reality, not textbook progression

LBE School was created around a practical problem: traditional English courses often move too slowly, stay too broad and spend too much time on situations that have little connection to the learner’s real work.

That is particularly frustrating when the learner is preparing for an exam, a licensing process, an executive meeting, a board presentation or an international interview.

Our starting point is not: “What unit should we teach next?”

It is: “What does this person need to be able to do in English?”

That difference shapes the programme, the materials and the way feedback is given.

Our students

Who we typically work with

Our programmes are designed primarily for adults whose English is connected to a professional decision, career move or measurable requirement.

Doctors & healthcare professionals

Clinical communication, OET, IELTS, international licensing, fellowships, observerships, case discussions and work in English-speaking healthcare systems.

Executives & senior managers

Board meetings, presentations, negotiations, leadership conversations, investor discussions and communication across multinational teams.

Specialists & professionals

Lawyers, consultants, finance professionals, researchers, engineers and other specialists who need to explain complex work clearly in English.

International candidates

Professionals preparing for interviews, relocation, new roles or work environments where English becomes part of everyday professional performance.

The people you work with

Experienced teachers for experienced adults

Teaching a senior professional is different from teaching general classroom English. The teacher needs to understand the learner’s objective, recognise the communication problem quickly and give feedback that can be used immediately.

Exam knowledge

Where relevant, our team works with the scoring logic, task types and performance demands of international English exams.

That means preparation is organised around what the candidate must actually demonstrate, rather than around generic grammar progression.

Adult teaching experience

Our programmes are built for adult learners, including experienced professionals who may already understand English well but struggle to perform naturally under pressure.

International perspective

Our teaching experience spans students and professional contexts across the Gulf, Europe, the Americas and Asia.

That matters because the challenge is often not only language. It is also register, expectation, tone and how professional communication changes from one environment to another.

Context before content

A doctor preparing for an OET role-play, a CFO preparing for a board presentation and a lawyer negotiating a transaction do not need the same English lesson.

We build around the situation first.

If you publish claims about current or former examiners, specific examiner organisations, teacher ages or exact multilingual profiles, keep them only where you can verify them internally.

How we work

Training built around what you actually have to do

A session can look very different depending on the objective. What stays consistent is the focus on active performance, specific correction and useful repetition.

Real tasks

Clinical role-plays, interviews, presentations, negotiations, emails, case discussions, letters, Q&A and other situations connected to the learner’s work.

Direct feedback

We identify what is weakening the communication: structure, word choice, pronunciation, tone, grammar, hesitation or the way the message itself is being organised.

Repetition with purpose

You do not simply repeat the same exercise. You repeat the situation after the problem has been identified, so the next attempt is measurably better.

Format

Private and focused by design

Most of our work is delivered online, which allows professionals in different countries and time zones to train without adding travel to an already busy schedule.

  • 1-to-1 preparation for highly specific goals;
  • small-group or corporate work where the objective is shared;
  • sessions organised around the learner’s professional calendar;
  • practice that can be adjusted when deadlines or priorities change.

Why we do not build everything around large classes

A surgeon preparing for an observership, an executive negotiating in English and an OET candidate rarely have the same weaknesses.

When the objective is narrow, individual feedback usually matters more than covering a large syllabus with a room full of people.

Global reach

Working across markets, time zones and professional cultures

Our students have come from or worked across the Gulf, Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia.

A substantial part of our international work involves professionals connected to the Gulf, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, alongside clients preparing for opportunities in the UK, Europe, the United States and other international markets.

Healthcare & exams

When English is part of a licensing or examination process

Healthcare professionals often come to LBE because English is tied to something concrete: an OET result, an IELTS score, a registration requirement, an international training programme or communication inside an English-speaking clinical environment.

The preparation therefore needs to distinguish between learning English and performing a specific communication task under assessment conditions.

OET

Speaking role-plays, clinical letters, task interpretation, timing and the communication behaviours expected in healthcare scenarios.

IELTS & other exams

Preparation based on the score requirement, test format and the individual sub-tests that are limiting the candidate.

Beyond the exam

Passing a test and functioning confidently in an international hospital are related, but they are not the same thing. For some professionals, training continues into clinical communication, interviews, presentations or workplace interaction.

Executive communication

For professionals who already know their business but need to express it in English

Senior professionals rarely need textbook business vocabulary. They need to explain decisions, push back, defend a position, handle difficult questions, present numbers and sound like themselves while doing it.

Meetings & leadership

Status updates, decision-making, stakeholder management, difficult conversations and communication across multinational teams.

Presentations & Q&A

Structure, delivery, narrative, executive presence and the questions that arrive after the prepared slides are finished.

Negotiation

Pushback, concessions, trade-offs, clarification, framing and keeping the relationship intact when the conversation becomes difficult.

What we do not try to be

We are not trying to be the largest English school, the cheapest option or a platform with hundreds of generic lessons.

Our work makes most sense when the learner has a clear reason for improving: a test, an interview, a promotion, a meeting, a presentation, a clinical responsibility or an international move.

That gives the training a direction. And direction usually matters more than volume.

Talk to us

Tell us what you need to do in English

You do not need to know which programme you need before contacting us. Tell us your profession, your current situation, your objective and any deadline you are working against.

That is usually enough to identify the most sensible next step.
